You may think you are having Profound Revelations; only to discover later they were none too profound.

Dinner, Job, Moving and stuff

Pasta with Tuna and Tomatoes is what I had for dinner tonight. It was very yummy. I also took a picture of my dinner tonight. I think it’s nicer than the pic that came with the recipe. )

Tuna Pasta and Tomatoes

So Thursday I’ll go meet with Jules and discuss how DVR can help me out with relocation. They seem very willing to help out, so this is very very good. If it wasnt for DVR, I don’t know how I could ever make this happen. I’m SO looking forward to this new job! Moving to a great new apartment, starting a fabulous job… this is the new life I’ve been dreaming about. I think the hardest part of all this is Brian going on his own. He doesn’t want to hear this, but he’s my baby. My youngest. My nest will be empty. I know he’s not been spending a lot of time here lately, with school, work, girlfriend and all… but still… I’ll miss the heck out of him, like when Heather moved out. yeah, she was only 4 blocks away. But still, I missed her so much. Took awhile to get used to it. Well, at least this time I’ll have the new job to distract me. Maybe that will soften the blow. Ya think? (I don’t…) *sigh* Well ’nuff of that.

Somebody came over to look at my apartment today, to rent as soon as I’m out of here. She seemed to really like it. Said it looked nice, big, and was happy at having 2 bathrooms. I hope that works out. Would be nice to be able to sublet, rather than working out a lease buy-out. My next big concern is getting the boy a place to live. Well, I shouldn’t have to do that, he should do it himself. He says Jason wants to share a place with him, and they’re making some phone calls. I hope he gets settled before I’m out of here.

My new apartment should be really nice. Ground floor, 1000 sq. ft. with an attached garage w/opener just across the hall from my door. The washer/dryer are right outside in the hall too, so I won’t be carting my wash over the river and thru the woods to get to the laundry room. Having Rosie in a garage would be SOOO nice, no more dealing with trying to sweep off snow and chip off ice. That is so hard for my arms… I look forward to having a garage. )

So now it’s time for me to get lazy and watch tv till I fall asleep. I hope things work out well over the next few weeks, with the holidays coming and the move coming and then a NEW JOB!!!

Buh Bye 4now

Happy Thanksgiving!
