Bio
Bio, short and sweet:
I’m a 40-something configuration analyst by day, lazybutt by night. Two college age kids, two cats, two birds, a bunch of fish, and that awesome lizard Ziggy the ig.
Bio with some more detail:
- Born/Raised in the northwest ‘burbs of Chicago.
- Met and married Greg, moved to Hawaii, raised a family 1977-2001. Somewhere in there I became a single mom… around 1990.
- Left Hawaii in January 2002 to find a better life. ( Yes, left, and yes, in search of a better life… Hawaii has an astronomical cost of living, and I had no future in the family business that had kept me busy all those years)
- Graduated 2005 from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College with a degree as a programmer/analyst.
- Interned at Lands’ End in the IS dept. for the summer of 2005.
- Started working for api Software, Inc., Hartford, WI in January 2006.
Daughter: Heather Anne - 23 years old, living in Baltimore, MD with her fiancee Justin and working as a veterinary technician.
Son: Brian - 20 years old, graduated 5/2006 from Southwest Tech with a machine tool operator technical diploma; LCpl in the US Marine Corps stationed at New River in Jacksonville, NC; married in April 2008.
Cats: Lilikoi and Punkin - sweet kitties Heather found at the Dane County shelter. I adopted them in April 2006. They came from the home of a cat-hoarder, so are very afraid of new people who come into their house. I hope in time they warm up! Piko - a kitten I got from a co-worker. She’s 110% kitten!
Birds: Harley the cockatiel (a mean ol’ bird but still I luv him!) and Cirrus the parakeet who loves to fly around but is temporarily grounded until we see how the cats play with her.
Fish: I have no bettas right now (I should do something about that!), and I have a 20-gal. fish tank with assorted fishies - barbs, tetras, and a big angelfish.

So here’s a link to my webcam. Maybe I’ll be there, maybe not. I think it’s actually working now. The link takes you to a Linksys page, and you have to click on “View Video” to see my (probably cluttered, messy) livingroom:
Slowly but surely I’ll put this page together.
